Wednesday, October 29, 2025 pm Sunset 5:58 pm Hunting closes at 6:28 pm Temperature 50 degrees. Wind: N- NE 15-20 mph. I headed back to the north field ladder stand, hoping that buck would cruise back through. I was ready to go by 2:45 pm. At 5:05 pm, I had a doe and her fawn come down the road from the south heading north. They came right in and got a drink from the watering hole they both ended up heading off to the NE. At 6:15 pm, I had a mature wide 8 pointer come in from the NE at 10 yards. He walked through and got a drink at the water hole. I passed on him not knowing about the buck I had shot in the morning. He was bigger than the buck I had shot, but it was the right thing to do. That was it. Totals: 3 deer. A doe and fawn and 1 mature 8 pointer.
