Bulldozer work

What an awesome day. The bulldozer from Reed and Hoppe's showed up from Wisconsin this morning at 9:00 am. After I took Eric around the property and showed him what we were going to be doing, we had it unloaded, fired up and ready to go by 10:00. We started in the creek bottom and got all of the old dead elm trees ripped out and pushed to the north and south ends of my new field. While he was doing this, I crossed my new bridge and cleared out an area for a new food plot on between the creek stand and Border patrol. He then brought the bulldozer and cleared and area over by the creek stand. The next job was over by the "sugar shack." He was able to knock down the old building (I have never seen so many beer cans) and make that food plot bigger. Next, we drove to the west and opened up a huge area for a food plot in front of the VAT. By then, it was 6:30. He shaved the hill up to, and away from the apple tree stand so it is now level.. Then we started on the trails. All of the trails are now cleared up and widen. Food plots are going in the second week of August. should be great. Stay tuned for more pictures. Buckslayer
