Saturday, October 3, 2009 a.m., 46 degrees, cloudy, overcast, and rainy, wind N-NE 10-15 mph, sunrise 7:12 a.m. (Hunting opens 6:42 a.m). Still raining. I decided to go to the Point and Taylor went to the Border Patrol. Taylor kicked up 2 deer to the south of the stand on the way in. We simply got wet. We decided to get down early at 8:00 a.m. When I walked down the hill, a deer got up that was 50 yards to the NE of the creek stand and ran to the east. That was it. Totals: Bob - 0 deer, Taylor - 0 deer.
