October 4, 2009 a.m.
Sunday, October 4, 2009 a.m., 47 degrees, cloudy, overcast, NO rain, wind N-NW 10-15 mph, sunrise 7:13 a.m. (Hunting opens 6:43 a.m). We all made it out this am. I went to Right Field, Heidi went to the Apple Tree, and Taylor went to the Border Patrol. Heidi kicked up a deer on the way in and she blew out a warning call to her friends. At 8:00 a.m. Taylor and Heidi saw a doe with two fawns in the food plot near the Stump. They ended up feeding up the hill to the west past the point stand. They ended up turning around and coming back to the food plot. They then fed up the hill towards Heidi. Heidi decided to let them walk. She said "I didn't want to kill the babies momma." That was it. Totals: Bob - 0 deer, Heidi - 3 deer, 1 doe and 2 fawns, Taylor - 3 deer, 1 doe and 2 fawns (same deer as Heidi)
