Friday, October 2, 2009 p.m.
Friday, October 2, 2009 p.m., 46 degrees, cloudy, overcast, and rainy, wind N-NE 10-20 mph, sunset 6:57 p.m. (Hunting closes 7:27 p.m). Tonight the weather can best be described as shitty. After not being able to hunt yesterday and this morning because of the rain I decided to give it a try. It is wet, windy, damp, and cold. The bucks just have to be moving. I was settled in at the ladder stand by 5:05 p.m. I know one thing, it is going to get dark early tonight. At 6:00 p.m., a big doe came through 30 yards to the NE of me. She took off to the north towards Arlie's. That was it. Wow. Was it cold and wet. I hope it clears in the am. Totals: Bob - 1 deer, 1 doe.
