Wednesday, November 12, 2008 p.m.
Wednesday, November 12, 2008 p.m., 34 degrees, damp, snow on ground about 1", wind E-SE 2-5 mph, sunset 4:49 p.m. (Hunting closes 5:19 p.m). Steve got here first and decided to go to the Border Patrol stand. Taylor went back to Ridgeback, and I went to the Fish Bowl. We were all settled in by 3:30 p.m. All I can say is you can sure see a lot better with some snow on the ground. At 4:50 p.m., I heard an ATV start over at Arlie's about 300 yards to the NE. Two minutes later, I heard a single gun shot. What a bunch of idiots! They are driving me crazy. Thank God, I am leaving tonight to go and hunt in peace and quiet in Wisconsin. Totals: Bob - 0 deer, Taylor - 0 deer, Steve - 0 deer.
