Thursday, November 6, 2008 p.m., 45 degrees, mostly cloudy, no rain, but very wet and damp, wind S-SE 15-20 mph, sunset 4:56 p.m. (Hunting closes 5:26 p.m). Well tonight was more of the same. Taylor decided to give Arlie's Nob another try and I went back to the Ridgeback. At 4:50 p.m., Taylor looked out to the NW and saw a doe with two fawns in the pasture. At 5:05 p.m., Bob had a small 4 pointer come up the ridge from the creek bottom from the SE. He came up the hill and saw the decoy. (See attached video). He ended up circling the decoy. After he got downwind, he ended up taking off to the NW. Taylor did see him take off as well. Totals: Bob - 1 deer, 1 buck, Taylor - 4 deer, 3 does/fawns, 1 buck.
