Saturday, October 16, 2010 am, Sunrise: 7:18 a.m. Opener: 6:48. Temp: 42 degrees, Wind: 5-10 E-SE mph. Mostly clear. This morning broke with me settled back into Octopussy. I got a great photo of a different 10 pointer with split brow tines that came through on Thursday morning (See attached). I pray that he takes the same route this morning. At 7:10, I looked to my left to the west and saw a deer trotting up the hill along the edge of the field about 40 yards away. When I was tweaking the Everest stand I saw the tall and narrow 8 pointer up the hill to the NW of me. He stood there and watched me for a couple of minutes and then trotted up the hill. Totals: Bob - 1 deer. 1?
