Friday, October 1, 2010 pm, Sunset: 6:58 p.m. Hunting closes: 7:28 Temp: 54 degrees, Wind: N-NE 15-18 mph. Mostly cloudy with a few light showers. Flying solo again tonight. With the wind from the N-NE. I decided to give the Jolly Roger a shot. I was all settled in by 5:00. At 6:30, the same black lab and yellow lab ran by my stand. I am so pissed off. At 7:10, I had two deer sneak up behind me, uphill and to the west. It was getting pretty dark and they were in the brush. I am not sure what they were, but I think they got wind of me and spooked back up the hill. I am pretty sure that they were does. I think they ended up walking up Devil's Ridge road to the south. Totals: Bob - 2 deer, 2 ?
