Wednesday, November 4, 2009 p.m.
Wednesday, November 4, 2009 p.m., 42 degrees, mostly cloudy, wind S-SW 10-15 mph, sunset 4:52 p.m. (Hunting closes 5:22 p.m). After an uneventful hunt this morning in Minnesota, I decided to try my luck down at the farm outside of Romance. On my way out to the stand, I kicked up two does that were already eating in the alfalfa field. I was settled in a new tree stand that Steve hung on the corner of the back field by 3:10 p.m. I am about 125 yards to the west of the big scrape along the logging road. After I get down tonight, I am going to look for a tree to put a stand in over by that scrape. That is where we have gotten the most photos of nice bucks from. That was it. Totals: Bob - O deer
