Wednesday, November 1, 2023 pm Sunset 6:02 pm Hunting closes at 6:32 pm Temperature 35 degrees. Wind: S-SW 10-12 mph. Mostly cloudy. I needed a change of scenery , so I decided to head up to Steve Copps Double Ladder on the north side cut through. I was ready to go by 2:10 pm. Let’s hope this pays off. At 4:30 pm, I had a doe come up the hill from the SE running for her life. Nothing was chasing her though. At 4:55 pm, I had another one do the same thing. I bet they were both horny nubbin bucks. At 6:05 pm, I had a good shooter buck come through about 100 yards away heading up to the NE. That was it. Totals: Bob. 3 deer. 2 does and 1 shooter buck.
