Saturday, October 24, 2020 am. Sunrise: 7:37 am. Hunting opens: 7:07 am. Temperature 19 degrees. Mostly sunny. Wind: W- NW 0-2 mph. We got about 8” of snow on Monday. A lot of it has melted, but there is still 4”+ of hard crunchy snow on the ground. I was planning on going to Arlie’s food plot, but the bracket at the base of the stand had broken and needed to be fixed. I made the quick decision to head over to Spaghetti Junction. I was ready to go by 7:00 am. At 7:40 am, I had a nice 2 1/2-3 1/2 year old 8 pointer come through from the south heading to the north about 35 yards to the east of me. At 8:55 am, I saw a deer cruising about 100 yards to the SE of me. I couldn’t tell what it was, but it was a big deer. That was it. Totals: Bob 2 deer. 1 buck and one ?
