Saturday, September 17, 2016 am  Sunrise 6:53 am. Hunting opens 6:23 am. Temperature: 54 degrees. Mostly sunny. Wind - S-SW 5-10 mph. Opening morning has finally arrived. I decided to head up to Right Field and Dwayne went to Arlie's food plot stand. We were both in and settled by 6:00 am. At 7:05 am, Dwayne had 2 does and 2 fawns come down the hill from the west. They got to about 5 yards, but there were too many eyes to get a shot. At 8:05 am, Dwayne saw a bachelor group of 3 bucks walking together to the NE about 175 yards away. He said the lead buck was decent but the other 2 were small. At 8:30 am, Dwayne saw a small fawn up the hill to the west. At 8:50 am, I had a decent 9-10 pointer sneak in behind me. He came through st 10 yards to the north of me. He ended up heading down the hill to the NW towards Pisa. I did get a little video of him. Totals: Bob 1 deer, 1 decent buck. Dwayne- 8 deer, 3 bucks.
