Saturday, October 17, 2015 am. Sunrise: 7:29 am. Hunting opens: 6:59 am. Temperature: 27 degrees. Wind: W-NW 3-5 mph. Mostly sunny. It is awesome to get out again. This morning, I decided to give the VAT a try. I brought the Montana colapsable buck and doe decoy with me this morning and put them out in front of me to the west. Dwayne came down and he went to the ladder stand. All I saw this morning was about 25 turkeys that had roosted up to the SE of me and a beautiful bald eagle. Dwayne saw a fawn that he thinks was the same fawn of the doe Heidi shot on opening day. Totals: Bob - 0 deer. Dwayne - 1 deer, 1 fawn.
