Monday, October 22, 2012 am, Sunrise: 7:37 am, Hunting opens: 7:07 am. Temperature 48 degrees, mostly sunny. Wind N-NE 5-10 mph. With a good wind, and a stand that has been rested for a while, I decided to give the VAT a try. I grabbed Stubby and headed for the valley. I was in the stand and all set up by 6:35 am.  Stayed until 9:25 am.  Nothing to report.  Totals:  Bob - 0 deer.
