18.1 lbs of Morels

Attached are some photos from this weekend. Not a bad haul. Lon, Sue and I picked 10.2 lbs on Saturday morning at Romance. Sue and I picked the 7.9 down at Copper creek in the afternoon. We have been eating them with about every meal. The rest are drying on screens in my dining room. Should be great for soups this winter. Getting excited. Turkey season starts for me on Saturday. Good luck to everyone this spring.

Turkey's in front yard April 16, 2012

I was sitting at my desk working from my home office and looked out and these birds were walking through my front year at 11:05 am. 2 Toms and 3 hens. Snapped a few photos that are attached. I will be hunting the 3rd season here in Minnesota. Hope to have some "close-up" photos of a nice time. Stay tuned. Buck Slayer - Out

2 more bucks from Copper

These guys are a bit smaller (probably 2 1/2 year olds). Both should be nice shooters this year.

Survivors

Here a two pictures of some potential bucks for 2012. The one has an awesome split G2 on the left side. He should be a beast next year. Both pictures were taken at Copper Creek.

Pictures of John Score's buck

Here are 3 photos of the buck that John shot a few days before the harvest. Congrats on the beautiful beast!

Next Year is Looking Good Already @ the 505!

Checking the cameras the big 9 and the G3 buck seem to be still alive and much to our surprise we have an even bigger 12 pointer!  This should lead to what we hope for a great season next year!  Now I can't wait for the shed hunting to begin.  I would love to find a few of these sheds!

12-24-11

Well...we have a few new targets for next year. I am pleased to see that these guys survived the hunting season. Now they just have to make it through the winter. So far; lucky for them, it has been pretty mild.
